10 Most Amazing Waterfalls

8. The Baatara gorge falls

A waterfall in Tannourine, Lebanon is called the Baatara gorge waterfall (also known as the Balaa gorge waterfall). On the Lebanon Mountain Trail, a limestone cave known as the Baatara Pothole is where the waterfall plunges 255 metres (837 feet) to the ground. The Baatara Waterfall in Lebanon was only found in 1952, which makes it quite distinctive. The waterfall and adjacent sinkhole, which were found in 1952 by French bio-speleologist Henri Coiffait, were completely mapped in the 1980s. Another name for the cave is “Cave of the Three Bridges.”
